Black Timber Builders is a vertically integrated home builder and land developer. We’re committed to creating community legacy throughout the housing continuum. Within our luxury residences, designer-crafted homes, and master-planned land developments, we have brought a new standard of housing to Northern Colorado through our intentionality to incorporating elevated design, timeless craftsmanship, and a lasting generational impact.

We believe that homes, and the spaces within and around them, create community. Our design pairs a timeless, elevated style with a natural aesthetic. It’s rooted in classic and elegant elements inspired by the land and its native surroundings.
How We Do It

Building for the future is a passion that the entire Black Timber team shares. It is our mission to be good stewards of the land and its resources. Through thoughtful planning, intentional designs, and a commitment to bettering our environmental impact, we have brought a new standard of quality to the Northern Colorado building community.
Our team comes from a diverse background in development, construction, and design. By combining these backgrounds into a vertically integrated company, we are able to begin development with the end user in mind. We have been involved in the development of Northern Colorado since the early 2000’s and have designed and built some of the most forward-thinking homes in the region. Black Timber has a background in single-family and multi-family developments, creating attainable living at every price point. Additionally, our interior designers have a hand in every project we develop, creating a sense of community from the very beginning.

We have an unwavering passion for creating positive community impact through land stewardship and sustainable building practices. We hold a steadfast commitment to strong community partnerships that guide the forward progress of Northern Colorado housing. As part of this, we are currently developing and building the country’s first single-family community of 100% Passive House Certified homes.
